Halverson Skid Steer Mounted Firewood Processor HWP-150EXT is the Extended version of the HWP-150 able to cut and split up to 33.5 inch long wood for larger fireplaces and boilers. I can do any length up to 33.5". The HWP-150 processors feature a longer grab arm that opens parallel to the log. By doing that is is able to handle logs up to 22 inches in diameter and it has a larger cylinder and more splitting force than the 140B. All the standard Halverson processors have a 24 inch stroke for cuts up to 22 inch long firewood. The HWP-120 and HWP-140 are limited to 16 inch diameter. The 150 series can go up to 22 inch diameter. The HWP-150EXT has a 36 inch stroke and can cut up to 33.5 inch firewood that is up to 22 inch diameter. Just set the adjustable length gauge and you can cut and split right from the cab of your skid steer.

Perfect for light commercial and residential use the HWP-150 Skid Steer Firewood Processors of Halverson Wood Products in Pine River MN truly make the job hassle-free. When attached to a skid steer or other equipment it enables the operator to easily and efficiently perform wood cutting and splitting tasks which normally require 2 to 3 people and a couple of tools -- all in the comfort of the cab seat.

How our Firewood Processor Attachment Works

Logs are picked up with the equipment's forks and then rolled onto the trough and moved to the table. Once in position the operator engages the chain swathe log is cut and then falls into the splitting trough. The advancement arm of the firewood processor moves the log to the next cutting position while simultaneously ramming the cut piece into the splitter. Our firewood processing equipment can cut wood into lengths of up to 22 inches and can split the wood into 4 or 6 pieces depending on the choice of splitting heads.

How do I know if Halverson Firewood Processors will work with my machine?

Our processors are built to be compatible with many common skid steer brands and other equipment that uses the universal attachment plate. Please refer to the specifications below.
